3. Property Preparation

Before our team arrives, you must:

  • Secure or remove valuable items, fragile objects, and personal documents
  • Ensure safe working conditions and clear access to areas requiring cleaning
  • Restrain pets or make arrangements for their safety during service
  • Disclose any potential hazards including mold, biohazards, or structural issues

4. Conduct Requirements

You agree to:

  • Treat our team members with respect, courtesy, and professionalism
  • Not engage in harassment, discrimination, or threatening behavior
  • Not interfere with team members while they perform their work
  • Report concerns through appropriate channels rather than confronting team members directly

5. Payment Obligations

You agree to:

  • Pay all fees for services rendered according to agreed terms
  • Provide valid payment information and maintain sufficient funds
  • Pay applicable cancellation fees for late cancellations
  • Cover costs for any damage to equipment caused by undisclosed hazards

Disclaimers and Warranties

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Warranties regarding results or outcomes of cleaning services

While we strive for excellence in all services, results may vary based on property condition, materials, and other factors beyond our control.

Service Limitations

We cannot guarantee:

  • Removal of permanent stains, discoloration, or damage from previous neglect
  • Repair or restoration of damaged surfaces or materials
  • Elimination of all allergens, bacteria, or microorganisms
  • Prevention of future damage or deterioration

Liability and Indemnification

Our Liability

Trusted Hands maintains comprehensive insurance coverage and accepts responsibility for:

  • Damage to your property directly caused by our negligence
  • Injuries occurring on your property to our team members while performing services
  • Loss or theft of items when caused by our team members

However, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim, or $500, whichever is greater.

Limitations on Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage, wear, or deterioration
  • Damage to items not properly secured or disclosed
  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of business, income, or profits
  • Damage resulting from undisclosed hazards or unsafe conditions

Client Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trusted Hands from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your violation of these terms and conditions
  • Injuries to our team members caused by undisclosed hazards
  • Your lack of authority to grant property access
  • Third-party claims related to your use of our services

Claims Procedure

For any damage or loss claims:

  • Notify us within 24 hours of discovering the issue
  • Provide documentation including photos and descriptions
  • Allow us reasonable opportunity to inspect and resolve the issue
  • Do not repair or dispose of damaged items without our authorization

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, severe weather, or environmental emergencies
  • Acts of terrorism, war, or civil unrest
  • Government restrictions, lockdowns, or mandatory closures
  • Labor disputes, strikes, or shortages of materials
  • Public health emergencies or pandemics

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Trusted Hands operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through:

  • Initial good faith negotiation between parties
  • Mediation if negotiation proves unsuccessful
  • Legal proceedings in the appropriate jurisdiction if other methods fail

Severability and Interpretation

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction:

  • The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid
  • If modification is not possible, the provision will be severed
  • All other provisions will remain in full force and effect

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and Trusted Hands. They supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written. Any modifications must be in writing and signed by both parties.
